Responsibilities
- Own customer outcomes and end-to-end delivery from architecture decisions through production handoff.
- Design, build, and deploy Agentforce agentic AI solutions, including agent logic, tool calls, multi-agent orchestration, guardrails, and enterprise integrations.
- Own data modeling, processing pipelines, data readiness, analytics, and integrations across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer platforms.
- Resolve complex data integration, model deployment, orchestration, performance, and technical delivery blockers.
- Build agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Develop proofs of concept and MVPs and determine which technical decisions require early commitment.
- Create reusable assets, frameworks, patterns, and playbooks from customer engagements.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and shared implementation work.
- Provide technical leadership on at-risk or strategically critical deployments.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists and customer stakeholders to translate business challenges into deployable agentic solutions.
- Share field insights with Salesforce Product and Engineering teams to influence the Agentforce roadmap.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with 6–10 years specified for Senior levels, and proven ownership of scalable production systems in enterprise AI, cloud, or SaaS environments.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Expertise in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex, with familiarity with the others.
- Production experience integrating LLMs, using LangChain or LlamaIndex, and applying prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics, including proficiency with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Deep Salesforce platform expertise, including Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience mentoring technical talent and creating reusable frameworks, playbooks, or internal tooling.
- Clear communication with engineering peers, customer architects, and executive stakeholders.
- Business-level proficiency in Italian and English.
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications, familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices, observability tooling, or data governance frameworks, and experience with multi-cloud enterprise AI solutions.
- Preferred qualifications also include enterprise product roadmap influence, open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference presentations.
