Responsibilities
- Own and engineer tier-zero security capabilities for customer deployment.
- Design and build customer-facing security features like authentication and SAML/SSO.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure product development.
- Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments for new features.
- Build security tooling and automation to facilitate secure development.
- Contribute to secure development standards and best practices.
- Lead application security initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead security incident response efforts.
- Drive security initiatives from problem definition to measurable outcomes.
- Assess and mitigate security risks in AI-powered products.
- Shape Fin's AI-first approach to security.
Requirements
- Proven experience in application security or security engineering within a SaaS environment.
- Strong software engineering skills with experience in production systems.
- Deep understanding of modern application security threats and secure development practices.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and enterprise security capabilities.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and security assessments.
- Hands-on experience in security incident response and remediation.
- Strong programming skills and experience in building developer-focused solutions.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools.
- Ability to communicate security concepts clearly to engineering teams.
- A pragmatic approach to balancing security and engineering velocity.
