Responsibilities
- Perform the full QA cycle for software releases, including requirements gathering, test planning, automation, and manual and automated test execution.
- Build integration and system tests for Akamai Data Warehouse and other distributed systems.
- Conduct requirements, feature, functional, regression, load, and performance testing.
- Develop testing tools and scripts to improve regression testing productivity and efficiency.
- Improve testing approaches, practices, and environments across the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Relevant QA testing experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Advanced knowledge of Python, shell scripting, and SQL.
- Understanding of networking protocols and technologies, especially HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS.
- Experience testing backend distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes.
