Responsibilities
- Implement and support improvements that enhance software quality, efficiency, and delivery speed.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps best practices across development and operations.
- Use AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm to support cloud infrastructure, containers, and orchestration.
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations and facilitate business and technical knowledge sharing.
- Manage and influence stakeholders to ensure services run effectively and team efforts are appropriately prioritized.
- Monitor systems and services to support reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Development, QA, IT Operations, Infosec, and UCD.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and practical experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Required experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing, DevOps tooling, containers, containerization, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with databases, architecture, integration, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of Kubernetes container orchestration and Helm package management.
- Must be willing to travel, have the right to work in the UK, and be able to attain UK Security Clearance.
- Preferred experience with GitLab CI/CD, Bash scripting, ArgoCD, Java with Spring, Kafka, Liquibase, GitOps, Jenkins, and database schema change management.
