Responsibilities
- Improve MongoDB networking and observability functionality and code.
- Lead medium-sized networking or observability projects from technical design through delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues and cross-team stakeholders across ideation, requirements gathering, design, execution, and delivery.
- Contribute production code, fix release bugs, review code, and participate in new-feature design.
- Improve networking stack performance, availability, and scalability and enhance observability using open frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building production-level code, with C++ experience required.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design and architecture.
- Interest in networking, observability, computer architecture, and system internals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
