Senior Software Engineer, Dimensional Data

Responsibilities
- Build and manage dimensional data sets, pipelines, transformations, APIs, and front-end products.
- Own features through design, creation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Implement maintainable, scalable, high-quality, and reliable software solutions.
- Develop backend services, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Apply distributed systems and operational excellence practices, including testing, monitoring, paging, and incident management.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues while collaborating with engineering teammates and leaders.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
- Deep knowledge of AWS or another large cloud computing environment.
- Strong distributed systems skills, including scalability, latency, and throughput measurement.
- Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Strong debugging skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with Python, Databricks, AWS, Postgres, TypeScript, React, and Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ownership, impact orientation, and commitment to continuous learning.
