Responsibilities
- Perform mobile application security architecture, design reviews, and assessments for native iOS and Android products.
- Engineer and implement native mobile security solutions, including solutions leveraging AI and LLM capabilities.
- Develop scalable static and dynamic application security scanning solutions and supporting security management tools and processes.
- Provide hands-on engineering support for native security solutions and continuously fine-tune mobile security rules.
- Review mobile security findings and violation reports and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with information security teams on security incident investigations and drive the security charter across organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with 5–7 years of experience or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
- At least 3 years of mobile application security engineering experience or software engineering experience including native mobile security for iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with mobile application security architecture and design reviews, security scanning, and security incident troubleshooting.
- Hands-on development experience with iOS, Android, Swift, and Kotlin.
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities for native mobile applications and secure product development, including AI/LLM security implications.
- Experience with mobile systems design and familiarity with identity authentication and authorization concepts.
- Familiarity with Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management is preferred.
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to communicate issues effectively with leadership and partner teams, multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced small-team environment.
