Base Salary
$135k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and modernize web, cloud-native, and enterprise applications.
- Lead architecture, technical design, implementation, design reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Own the technical roadmap, stability, performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of assigned systems.
- Lead production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and service reliability initiatives.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate with business partners, product owners, architects, engineering teams, and offshore or vendor resources.
- Establish and promote development, architecture, security, and engineering best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.
- Evaluate technology solutions based on business requirements, cost, scalability, security, and operational impact.
- Prepare technical presentations and lead development meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Ten years of experience developing applications with Java or .NET technologies.
- Strong experience designing and developing microservices and REST-based APIs.
- Five years of experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Five years of experience with database design, development, and data modeling using relational and/or NoSQL technologies.
- Five years of experience with integration frameworks, messaging platforms, and distributed systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, deployment, containerization, orchestration, scripting, and automation.
- Knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design, design patterns, and modern development practices.
- Experience with Java, JEE, Spring Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Spring Integration, Apache Camel, JWT, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, and Okta.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Harness, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and Terraform.
- Experience with Angular, AngularJS, Nodejs, NPM, NestJS, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise application modernization, cloud migration, platform transformation, technical leadership, identity integration, AI-assisted development, relevant cloud or platform certifications, and regulated-industry experience.
Benefits
- Hybrid schedule requiring work in a hub office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; locations include Philadelphia, Cedar Rapids, and Denver.
- Moderate travel of 10% to 25% may be required, and work outside normal business hours may occasionally be needed.
- Relocation assistance is not provided.
