Base Salary
$157k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build platform-level capabilities for the Stripe Dashboard.
- Create software services that impact millions of users.
- Ensure platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and extensible.
- Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience.
- Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and systems across engineering teams.
- Coordinate with engineers and business teams to solve user pain points.
- Play a key role in expanding the global payments network.
- Utilize software engineering knowledge to debug critical issues.
- Align technical decisions with strategic initiatives.
- Develop and execute short- and long-term roadmaps.
- Own engineering solutions from end to end.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1 year of software development experience.
- 1 year of internship experience in software engineering.
- 1 year of experience building software solutions with Python.
- 1 year of experience designing and implementing backend APIs.
- 1 year of experience designing performant cross-platform user interfaces.
- 1 year of experience in data analysis to identify trends.
- 1 year of experience contributing to large-scale codebases.
