Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Support development of aircraft simulation models for a Mission Crew Training Device.
- Produce high-quality mission simulation software, validation tests, and documentation.
- Participate in peer reviews for software engineering artifacts.
- Collaborate with software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, software architects, and other teams to improve software product maturity.
- Support Simulation and Modelling efforts for NC3 mission-system integration and crew training.
Requirements
- Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM major through completion of the internship.
- Strong foundation in C++ programming is required.
- Experience with Python is required, including experience gained through on-the-job work, research, coursework, or projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
- An active and existing Secret DoD security clearance is required after day one.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile framework experience, knowledge of microservices, containers, and orchestrators, GitLab DevOps experience, RF communications concepts, CI/CD processes, and software simulation.
