Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot complex software components and services.
- Administer, support, design, implement, and optimize enterprise SQL Server and Oracle database platforms.
- Develop and support ETL/ELT, API, event-driven, and file-based data movement solutions.
- Modernize legacy data platforms and migrate on-premises databases to cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Implement automation, monitoring, observability, security, and operational controls to improve platform stability and reduce risk.
- Enable reporting, analytics, operational intelligence, and future AI initiatives through trusted and governed data assets.
- Lead code reviews, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and resolve complex production issues.
- Collaborate with technical, security, governance, operations, analytics, and business teams.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to apply IT best practices.
- 5+ years supporting enterprise SQL Server and/or Oracle database environments preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, modern ELT architectures, and scalable analytical data models preferred.
- Experience with dbt, Talend, Informatica, or similar data integration tools preferred.
- Strong SQL development and database performance tuning experience preferred.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or automation scripting preferred.
- Experience with enterprise data integration, analytics platforms, reporting environments, and modern data architectures preferred.
- Familiarity with data sharing, governance, security, performance optimization, regulatory compliance, SOX controls, and operational risk management preferred.
- Experience supporting large-scale financial services platforms preferred.
