Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize complex software components and enterprise data solutions.
- Administer and support enterprise SQL Server and Oracle database platforms.
- Design and implement highly available, resilient, secure, and scalable database solutions.
- Develop and support ETL/ELT, API, event-driven, file-based, and other data movement solutions.
- Modernize legacy data platforms and migrate on-premises databases to cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
- Implement automation, monitoring, observability, and operational controls to improve platform stability.
- Support enterprise reporting, analytics, operational intelligence, and trusted data assets for future AI initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex software defects and production issues using root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Lead code reviews, collaborate on technical initiatives, and participate throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and apply secure coding, testing, documentation, governance, and compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to apply IT best practices.
- Five or more years supporting enterprise SQL Server and/or Oracle database environments.
- Experience with Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, modern ELT architectures, and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Experience with dbt, Talend, Informatica, or similar data integration tools.
- Experience designing scalable analytical data models and data products.
- Experience with data sharing, governance, security, and performance optimization in Snowflake environments.
- Strong SQL development and database performance tuning experience.
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or automation scripting.
- Experience supporting large-scale financial services platforms, analytics and reporting environments, modern data architectures, data governance, regulatory compliance, SOX controls, and operational risk management.
