Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software throughout the full development life cycle.
- Design, code, debug, test, implement, and validate front-end and back-end applications.
- Create program specifications, application documentation, implementation plans, and unit tests.
- Analyze and modify applications across multiple platforms, databases, and technologies.
- Perform testing, validation, corrective measures, and escalation of alternative solutions.
- Participate in client-facing meetings, joint venture discussions, and vendor partnership teams.
- Support application standards, controls, procedures, monitoring, PCI security compliance, and data accuracy.
- Provide billable-hour and resource estimates and assist with on-the-job training and guidance for other software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically at least 4 years of professional experience coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Advanced knowledge of one or more front-end or back-end languages and moderate understanding of the corresponding technology area.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: 6 or more years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Preferred: experience with IBM Rational Tools.
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, databases, back-end and front-end technologies, web frameworks, development tools, mobile development, and machine learning technologies.
