Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive business application security program.
- Take ownership of security posture across 200+ business applications.
- Define security standards for business applications.
- Embed security into procurement, integration, and lifecycle management processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across various departments to enhance application security.
- Design and scale user access with role-based access controls.
- Provide escalation support in debugging app access and role issues.
- Conduct requirements discovery and analysis for new applications.
- Implement automations for identity lifecycle management.
- Manage API connections and integrations between business applications.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with security standards.
- Mentor junior teammates on best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Application Security or a related role.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP are a plus.
- Expertise in Okta, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with SAML and OAuth protocols, as well as SCIM.
- Proficiency with Okta Workflow or similar automation platforms.
- Excellent ability to communicate between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong skills in change management, process improvement, and stakeholder management.
