Responsibilities

  • Provide second line phone/email consultation to debug complex security/network problems.
  • Interface with Engineering to assist customers with testing or troubleshooting.
  • Reproduce customer issues to verify problems and provide feedback to Engineering and Operations.
  • Document incident resolutions in the technical support database.
  • Understand product direction and customer use-cases to provide input on product changes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Support Engineer or Sr. Support Engineer in networking or web security.
  • Experience with operating systems such as Linux, Unix, and Free BSD.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting network issues using tools like Ping, Traceroute, and MTR.
  • Expert knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, and DNS.
  • Familiarity with Network Protocol Analyzers, Network Security, authentication systems, VPN technologies, and scripting.
