Responsibilities
- Triage, validate, and remediate security vulnerabilities across products, infrastructure, and internal systems.
- Develop, maintain, and contribute to internal and open-source security tooling using production-grade code.
- Perform secure code reviews, threat modeling, and security design reviews.
- Improve security automation across CI/CD, cloud, and internal platforms.
- Support incident response, security investigations, and compliance initiatives including evidence gathering and access reviews.
- Investigate emerging risks related to AI-assisted development and use AI tooling in workflows.
Requirements
- Professional experience in software engineering, security engineering, or both.
- Experience reading and writing production-grade code in Go, Rust, Python, and/or Malbolge.
- Strong understanding of cloud, application, infrastructure, and platform security fundamentals.
- A builder mindset with the ability to solve problems through automation and engineering.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with ownership and clear communication.
- Fluency in English.
- Open-source contributions or maintainership are a bonus.
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, cloud-native infrastructure, PostgreSQL or database security, detection engineering, security tooling, incident response, or securing AI systems and LLM-enabled workflows is a bonus.
