Responsibilities
- Plan and execute red team engagements simulating real-world threat actors.
- Build and maintain custom offensive tooling and automation frameworks.
- Develop custom payloads and evasion capabilities tailored to Datadog's environment.
- Improve efficiency of offensive operations through automation and AI.
- Collaborate with the Detection & Response team on purple team exercises.
- Translate offensive findings into actionable improvements with defensive teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security.
- Proficient in writing production-quality code (Python, Go, or similar).
- Deep expertise in macOS security, Linux security, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience developing evasion techniques against modern defensive controls.
- Strong communication skills for conveying complex findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to operate with ambiguity and drive projects from prototype to deployment.
