Base Salary
$195k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute red team engagements end-to-end against cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and corporate environments.
- Build and maintain custom offensive tooling, automation frameworks, payloads, evasion capabilities, and engagement infrastructure.
- Use automation and AI to improve reconnaissance, vulnerability analysis, reporting, and offensive operations efficiency.
- Partner with Detection & Response on purple team exercises to validate detection logic, improve alert fidelity, and influence threat models.
- Communicate offensive findings and drive remediation with defensive security and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of hands-on offensive security experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or adversary simulation.
- Require production-quality coding ability in Python, Go, or similar and the ability to build custom tools and automate workflows.
- Require deep expertise in at least two of macOS security, Linux security, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Require experience developing evasion techniques against modern defensive controls and understanding blue-team detection practices.
- Require strong communication skills and the ability to scope and drive projects from prototype through deployment and validation.
- Preferred candidates can operate against mature, well-defended environments and work independently with ambiguity.
