Responsibilities
- Build and deliver data, analytics, automation, and agentic AI solutions for financial services tax clients.
- Develop data pipelines, models, automations, and generative AI use cases under the direction of managers.
- Analyse, cleanse, and transform complex structured and unstructured tax datasets into AI-ready data.
- Contribute to solution design, testing, documentation, quality assurance, and accurate delivery.
- Engage with client teams and EY colleagues, communicate findings and recommendations, and support or lead client training sessions.
- Lead the drafting of proposals and manage stakeholders in a consulting environment.
- Supervise and support analysts and interns, including sharing knowledge and reviewing their work.
- Stay current with AI, data engineering, and tax technology developments.
Requirements
- Typically two to five years of experience delivering data, analytics, or AI work.
- Hands-on technical skills in SQL, Python, data manipulation and engineering, and exposure to generative AI or LLM tools, machine learning, or analytics platforms.
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform low-code applications.
- Some consulting experience, including leading proposal drafting and supporting or leading client training sessions.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, and stakeholder-management skills.
- A degree in a numerate, computing, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: exposure to tax data, enterprise tax and data technology, Microsoft Fabric, cloud data services, agile delivery environments, or relevant cloud, data, or AI certifications.
