Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand startup requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and advise customers from evaluation through deployment and expansion.
- Lead technical evaluations and help startups create evaluation frameworks for their specific Claude use cases.
- Advise founders and startup engineering teams on technical architecture and AI engineering practices.
- Gather startup use-case and deployment insights and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
- Travel to customer sites, startup events, and industry conferences for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder with founder-led sales experience.
- Experience working with startups or high-growth technology companies.
- Software engineering or technical-founder experience and the ability to establish credibility with technical founders and engineers.
- Deep technical proficiency building and scaling AI products, including hands-on production deployment of LLM-powered applications.
- Expertise in context engineering, evaluation frameworks, and modern AI architectures.
- Strong technical communication skills and a track record of selling technical products in competitive markets.
- Comfort with Python and familiarity with common LLM frameworks, tools, and integration patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
Benefits
- Annual compensation range of £165,000–£190,000 GBP, with the stated sales range including target commissions, bonuses, and annual base salary.
