Base Salary
$185k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives with Product and Design to ship and iterate on AI-enabled care experiences that improve patient engagement and outcomes.
- Partner with the ML research team to apply AI and LLM techniques to clinical care and build them into Counsel’s agentic framework.
- Improve the physician-facing care platform and integrate AI tooling that increases physician efficiency and clinical capability.
- Architect scalable backend systems, including health data ingestion pipelines and enterprise client integrations.
- Work cross-functionally with product, clinical, and commercial teams and interface directly with healthcare organizations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building production software, ideally including at least 2 years at a startup or growth company.
- Hands-on experience building consumer-facing products from the ground up in a high-growth startup environment.
- Proficiency with React, Next.js, Node.js with TypeScript, React Native, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, and Redis.
- Experience building systems at scale for hundreds of thousands of end users and large enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and recent developments.
- Ability to own broad initiatives, drive them to completion, and navigate ambiguity.
- Strong interest in developing engineering skills and helping level up the surrounding team.
