Responsibilities
- Own the iOS product end to end, including technical architecture, performance, product quality, and release discipline.
- Set and own architectural decisions for the iOS platform as the product scales.
- Design and implement experiences for live market data, fast-moving prices, and real-time order state.
- Lead code reviews and establish strong iOS engineering standards.
- Help grow the broader mobile team’s capabilities through technical leadership and mentoring.
- Partner with product, design, and backend teams to define priorities, APIs, and data contracts.
- Contribute to mobile platform strategy and architecture decisions for long-term scale.
Requirements
- Significant experience engineering iOS applications and shipping and owning high-quality production apps.
- Deep experience building trading, financial, or sportsbook applications.
- Strong knowledge of Swift and the iOS SDK, including performance and memory management.
- Experience consuming live data feeds and reliably displaying fast-moving information.
- Ability to operate with broad ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
- Familiarity with WebSockets, streaming APIs, or other real-time data infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience leading or mentoring iOS engineers is a plus.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus.
