Base Salary
$100k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype, design, develop, and support commercialization of embedded and cloud software solutions for agentic mobile use cases.
- Add features to the Android platform stack across the application layer, middleware, and native layers.
- Integrate on-device large language models and on-device vector databases.
- Develop and debug software, including software bring-up and crash-dump analysis.
- Use data structures and algorithms to ship projects at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience developing object-oriented software using C++, Java, or Rust.
- Understanding of operating system concepts and concurrency.
- Experience with Git for software development.
- Experience with embedded Linux and/or Android.
- Experience with Android SDK, Android NDK, and Android OS concepts and architecture, including HALs, security, and Treble.
- Familiarity with Modern C++ (C++14 or newer) and/or Java; Kotlin experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Python for AI/ML-related software development.
- Familiarity with ARM processors, ARM Assembly, mobile SoC architecture, hypervisors/virtualization, security, memory, storage, buses, peripherals, power, and thermals.
- Experience with on-device AI runtimes such as TFLite, PyTorch Edge, ExecuTorch, and Qualcomm AI Stack is preferred.
- Strong debugging skills and experience with software bring-up and crash-dump analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
