Responsibilities
- Implement technical solutions for new features and product enhancements across the Core platform.
- Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, user entitlement, Admin UI, and customer-facing delivery services.
- Contribute to the OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect authentication platform using Duende IdentityServer and maintain the user product access entitlements framework.
- Collaborate on Admin UI functionality for managing users, roles, service clients, and reference data.
- Apply sound software engineering design principles to create scalable, flexible, resilient, and secure solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools while retaining ownership of design decisions and code quality.
- Maintain existing Core platform software and participate in production support and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, business analysis, and cross-squad teams.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET and C#, ideally .NET 8 or later.
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, authentication and authorization protocols, and identity management.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, distributed computing, and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with Angular or comparable modern frontend frameworks is desirable.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services such as Service Fabric, AKS, App Configuration, and Blob Storage.
- Experience with unit testing, continuous integration/deployment, and test automation.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code in day-to-day development.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and geographies and work flexibly in a role balancing feature delivery with production support.
