Responsibilities
- Design and develop reusable domain-aligned platform services for enterprise digital products.
- Define microservices, API-first, event-driven, orchestration, and distributed-system integration patterns.
- Deploy cloud-native services on AWS using EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Lead engineering teams, design reviews, architecture alignment, technical roadmaps, and mentoring.
- Collaborate with product, UX, business, and platform stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated unit, integration, and contract testing.
- Ensure service availability, latency, throughput, observability, and fault tolerance against SLAs and SLOs.
- Monitor services with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana and lead production triage and root-cause resolution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, distributed systems, RESTful APIs, event-driven architecture, and AWS services.
- Experience designing reusable platform services and APIs for digital commerce or enterprise operations platforms.
- Understanding of API orchestration, event streaming, data modeling for distributed systems, and system integration patterns.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams or serving as a Technical Lead and driving alignment across dependent platform services.
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Preferred experience with domain-driven design, bounded contexts, enterprise digital platforms, Docker, Kubernetes or EKS, API gateways, service mesh, platform governance, and application or API security frameworks.
