Full Stack Software Engineer
Ford MotorResponsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize full-stack applications using Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular, React, and HTML.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications and services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Create and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code and manage source control workflows in GitHub.
- Perform vulnerability, license, API security, static analysis, and code-quality checks using Fossa, Checkmarx, 42Crunch, and SonarQube.
- Publish, manage, and govern APIs through Apigee, including versioning, access control, and documentation.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, DevOps, and security teams through design discussions, code reviews, planning, and delivery.
- Implement automated security and quality gates in build and deployment processes.
- Support debugging, performance optimization, documentation, and knowledge transfer during the backfill transition.
- Explore Python and AI/machine learning capabilities for application features, automation, and data insights.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot microservices development.
- Solid front-end development experience with Angular, React, and HTML.
- Experience with SQL, query optimization, database design, and relational databases.
- Practical experience deploying and managing cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency with GitHub, including version control, branching, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience with application security practices, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
- Familiarity with Fossa, Checkmarx, 42Crunch, Sonar/SonarQube, and Apigee.
- Experience building, securing, and consuming APIs.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, continuous integration and delivery, and automated testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while solving complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Python and exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/machine learning concepts, frameworks, or applications are added advantages.
