Responsibilities
- Build modular, reusable, and high-performance UI components using ReactJS and/or EmberJS.
- Design and implement responsive, accessible, and intuitive interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Own frontend architecture, performance optimization, rendering efficiency, and maintainability.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services using Ruby on Rails or Java.
- Contribute to backend development, databases, service integrations, and other full-stack components.
- Debug and resolve complex frontend and full-stack issues while producing clean, scalable, and testable code.
- Contribute to design systems, reusable UI patterns, accessibility standards, and frontend best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, SRE, and engineering teams on customer-facing applications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Explore AI-powered tools and technologies to improve engineering productivity.
- Help build reliable, observable, scalable, available, and fault-tolerant applications.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong frontend development and meaningful backend exposure.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS; EmberJS experience is advantageous.
- Understanding of frontend architecture, component-based development, state management, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization, rendering efficiency, accessibility, and UX best practices.
- Working experience with Ruby on Rails or Java and the ability to develop, integrate, and troubleshoot backend services.
- Understanding of REST APIs, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Experience with relational databases and familiarity with caching, distributed queues, microservices, and service integrations.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional engineering teams and with Product and Design teams.
