Responsibilities
- Lead junior developers and guide team members toward project completion.
- Engage vendors on technical solutions, delivery impacts, quality, and IT security considerations.
- Manage and report technical risks.
- Maintain development quality through standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, and code reviews.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Contribute to design, estimation, planning, development, unit testing, release, and implementation support.
- Translate business requirements into technical application solutions with Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
- Contribute to and review technical specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience as a senior developer leading the delivery of web and API solutions and coaching team members.
- Proficiency with Spring Batch, multithreading, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, PostgreSQL, and Oracle Database.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, SQL, ORM, REST APIs, JMS, PL/SQL, T-SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, development principles, relational database design, and SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, and Serena.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, mentoring, and project-management abilities.
- General banking knowledge, especially in wealth management or private banking, is valued.
