Base Salary
$190k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and architecture for major documentation platform initiatives.
- Author design documents, drive architectural decisions, and build consensus across engineering teams.
- Define roadmaps for complex, multi-quarter projects spanning multiple teams.
- Set direction for AI/LLM integrations in documentation platforms and authoring tools.
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical guidelines.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, performant full-stack services and systems.
- Debug production issues, improve system reliability, and own system health and incident response.
- Partner with engineering teams across the company to design integrated documentation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least four years of software engineering experience.
- At least four years of full-stack experience focused on Ruby, Java, TypeScript, or Bazel.
- At least four years of technical leadership on large projects, including roadmaps spanning more than six months and multiple teams.
- At least two years authoring and reviewing technical design documents and driving complex architectural decisions while collaborating with junior colleagues.
- At least two years building and scaling automated testing and validation frameworks.
- At least two years designing and implementing persistent data models with MongoDB.
- At least two years implementing emerging technical standards for AI/LLMs.
