Responsibilities
- Develop and validate infrastructure, software components, and integrations across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Build scalable cloud-native solutions using microservices and distributed-systems architectures.
- Design and implement software for Cisco Intersight’s hybrid-cloud and AI infrastructure management platform.
- Collaborate in small, self-organizing teams while contributing to product design, quality, and customer-focused solutions.
- Use AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, solution design, and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5 years of related experience, a master’s degree with 3 years, or a PhD with 0 years.
- Experience programming with Go, C/C++, Java, and/or Python.
- Experience with microservices software architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Linux, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with cloud computing, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization environments such as vSphere, Hyper-V, and KVM.
- Preferred deep understanding of AI technologies and AI-assisted development tools.
