Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services and APIs.
  • Define system architecture, data models, and integration strategies with architects and senior engineers.
  • Integrate internal and external data sources, AI/ML services, and third-party APIs for the AdTech ecosystem.
  • Optimize backend systems for speed, scalability, stability, and high volumes of data and traffic.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting and participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging.
  • Contribute to deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure interactions.
  • Conduct code reviews and develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Create technical documentation including API specifications, architectural diagrams, and system runbooks.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Neo4j, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with GCP and developing cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or SNS is highly desirable.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed system design.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Gross salary range of 6 333 zł—12 500 zł PLN.
