Base Salary
$161k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate identity and access services covering authentication, authorization, access governance, secrets, and privileged access.
- Improve customer environment configuration so identity, access, policies, and integrations are secure by default and easy to manage.
- Build identity controls, agent sandboxes, and safety harnesses with least privilege, constrained actions, auditability, and monitoring.
- Create secure-by-default libraries, paved-road abstractions, self-service tooling, and agentic workflows for security operations.
- Design, deploy, and own the reliability and security of production security systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for mission-critical security services.
- Contribute through design reviews, code reviews, documentation, and engineering collaboration.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience, including shipping and operating production services.
- Experience building or contributing to security infrastructure such as identity and access management, authentication and authorization, secrets management, or privileged access.
- Strong programming, debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills across unfamiliar systems and domains.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services, plus familiarity with distributed-system patterns.
- Ability to translate security requirements into maintainable, automated systems.
- Experience using agentic coding tools and creating automated workflows for repetitive security work, with the judgment to review outputs critically.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, including explaining technical risks, decisions, and tradeoffs.
- Working knowledge of common vulnerability classes and attacker-oriented system failure analysis.
- Preferred experience building security infrastructure at a fast-growing company, using SCIM, OpenID Connect, SAML, policy engines, or hardware-backed credentials.
- Preferred experience securing agentic or AI-powered systems and working in highly regulated enterprise environments.
