Responsibilities
- Lead the development and hands-on delivery of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems from development through production.
- Act as an escalation point for the team during and outside office hours, including familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
- Apply governance to solution design and code quality while maintaining deep knowledge of system architecture and technical domains.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution and technical documentation.
- Guide a small team of developers in designing and developing solutions.
- Mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing, and support pairing, code reviews, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or React.
- Experience building highly scalable systems, preferably in the cloud, with GCP valued.
- Proficiency developing customer-centric front-end solutions.
- Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
- Leadership experience within development teams and technical project delivery.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Deep understanding of large-scale, highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.
