Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain custom software components and applications.
- Build scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Integrate PySpark applications with data-storage systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot PySpark applications in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Document development processes and code changes.
- Participate in team discussions and provide solutions to work-related problems.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in PySpark is required.
- Proficiency in PySpark is required.
- Experience developing scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and big data frameworks.
- Ability to optimize PySpark jobs for performance and resource utilization.
- Familiarity with integrating PySpark applications with data-storage systems.
- Knowledge of debugging and troubleshooting PySpark applications in production environments.
- At least 15 years of full-time education is required.
