Base Salary
$230k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead forward-looking mobile architecture decisions aligned with company goals and business needs
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable Swift and Objective-C code
- Mentor engineers through technical issues, design decisions, and architectural trade-offs
- Drive code quality through code reviews and high engineering standards
- Architect and implement performant solutions for interactive image, video, and mixed-media manipulation
- Improve release cadence, feature flagging practices, and release management processes
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and business stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly
- Contribute across unfamiliar areas of the stack and cross-platform efforts when needed
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience building iOS applications with Swift and/or Objective-C
- Experience owning projects end-to-end from prototypes through customer rollout
- Professional experience building consumer mobile applications at scale
- Experience with iOS media manipulation frameworks including AVFoundation, Core Image, Core Video, Core Audio, and Metal
- Experience collaborating with iOS, Android, server, and web engineers
- A track record of mentoring engineers and improving team-wide code quality
- Experience with feature flagging, release management, and observability tools such as Datadog and Crashlytics
- Strong collaboration experience with designers, product managers, and business stakeholders
- Comfort with AI-assisted development workflows
- React Native experience is preferred
- Experience with OpenGL, 3D rendering, and matrix-based transformations is preferred
- Experience integrating third-party media manipulation tools is preferred
- Familiarity with Android is preferred
