Responsibilities
- Gain proficiency in model-based systems engineering and associated tools such as DOORS or Cameo.
- Design and define software system architecture artifacts for new or existing software products.
- Create requirements and trace them to software components.
- Collaborate with software developers, software systems engineers, and subject matter experts.
- Work in an agile development environment.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2026.
- Major in or have majored in a STEM discipline.
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Preferred: overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Preferred: current active Secret clearance or higher.
Benefits
- Paid internship with bachelor’s pay of $24.25 to $31.00 per hour and master’s pay of $34.50 to $37.25 per hour.
- Summer 2027 internship lasting at least 10 weeks and requiring 40 hours per week.
