Responsibilities
- Perform test estimation, planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and testing status reporting.
- Test web-based and mobile applications using black-box, risk-based, exploratory, non-UI, API, and other testing techniques.
- Apply AI tools throughout the testing lifecycle to generate scenarios, test data, test plans, bug reports, scripts, analysis, and test-result summaries.
- Review and validate AI-generated test cases, scripts, analysis, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and effectiveness through AI tools and agents.
- Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with Scrum teams to analyze requirements and provide QA recommendations.
- Support product growth through competitor research, customer troubleshooting, and AI-assisted root-cause investigation.
- Handle client data responsibly and ensure sensitive or confidential information is not exposed to unapproved AI tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Intermediate English proficiency and good communication skills.
- Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of software development and testing processes, including test approaches, test plans, black-box testing, risk-based testing, exploratory testing, non-UI testing, and API testing.
- Hands-on experience using AI chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini in real testing work.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code for test scripts, API tests, or SQL.
- Strong prompting skills and awareness of AI agents, MCP, AI limitations, and responsible handling of sensitive client data.
- Ability to provide examples of how AI improved testing, learn new technologies, collaborate effectively, and solve problems methodically.
- Experience creating and running automated tests with tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Robotium, UiAutomator, XCTest, or XCUITest is preferred.
- Experience using test tools such as TestNG, Mocha, Jasmine, or Nightwatch is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
