Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to eliminate classes of vulnerabilities from Verkada.
- Build tools to facilitate secure software development for engineers.
- Leverage AI to automate security engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders on security goals and processes.
- Work with the CISO to enhance Verkada's security and privacy programs.
- Share security knowledge through conferences, presentations, and blogs.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer focused on security.
- Interest in security weaknesses, attacks, and mitigations.
- Experience leveraging AI in software development.
- Excellent collaborative skills and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
