Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and enhance custom software components and applications.
- Administer AWS Lambda and manage cloud-based serverless environments.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for cloud applications.
- Analyze and optimize the performance and scalability of serverless functions.
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Use monitoring and logging tools to support system reliability and issue resolution.
- Lead continuous improvements to testing processes and quality engineering practices.
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to solutions, team discussions, and adoption of engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Lambda administration.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in AWS Lambda, AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3, AWS CloudFormation, API Gateway, and Amazon RDS.
- Strong knowledge of serverless computing environments and their operational management.
- Experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for cloud applications.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging using CloudWatch and X-Ray.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of backend development, microservices architecture, AWS security concepts, IAM, and VPC fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of or willingness to learn Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with serverless frameworks and DevOps automation practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
- AWS Associate or Professional certifications are a plus.
