Responsibilities

  • Maintain, enhance, and document assigned ColdFusion web applications and assist with developing new applications.
  • Build interactive web applications and client/server projects using ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, databases, and related technologies.
  • Design and develop custom components and implement object-oriented and MVC design patterns.
  • Administer ColdFusion servers and integrate them with middleware web servers such as IIS and Apache.
  • Monitor and tune application performance using ColdFusion Performance Monitor and analyze ColdFusion logs.
  • Develop functional and technical requirements and manage technical documentation for application and environment changes.
  • Support operational ColdFusion-based dedicated hosts and troubleshoot application, data, and external system issues.
  • Develop web parts, web part pages, workflows, content types, document libraries, and lists.
  • Integrate web services and external system dependencies and manage source control using Git or SVN.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building n-tier static and interactive web applications and client/server projects with ColdFusion.
  • Experience with CFML, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, AJAX, JSON, Oracle, SQL Server, J2EE, REST, and SOAP.
  • Experience with web application standards, ColdFusion components and language features, frameworks, object-oriented design, MVC patterns, and multi-tier environments.
  • Strong understanding of and experience implementing all stages of the software development lifecycle for ColdFusion application development.
  • Experience with ColdFusion log analysis, data structures, web services, external system integration, custom components, and database-driven websites.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as jQuery and AJAX.
  • Experience with Oracle 12c, Exadata, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience using source control solutions such as Git or SVN.
  • AWS Cloud and ColdFusion or similar migration and stand-up experience is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is preferred.
