Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated Python tests and tools for embedded automotive software, firmware, infotainment/UI, Android, and multimedia.
- Design, build, bring up, and scale remotely accessible test stations using production-intent hardware and peripherals.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
- Review requirements and system architecture, derive test scenarios, and develop infrastructure to simulate automotive behaviors and automate testing.
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot bugs, improve testability, and raise software quality.
- Participate in code reviews and improve testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and programming skills in Python, Rust, or other relevant embedded software languages.
- Experience writing automated tests with frameworks such as Pytest, Slash, Robot Framework, or similar.
- Experience debugging embedded systems at the module or system level and triaging nightly regression failures.
- Experience with software testing tools, frameworks, and requirements-driven, unit, integration, system, and automated testing methodologies.
- Interest or experience validating network communication, IoT and connectivity, multimedia, Android, UI, or low-voltage power distribution features.
- Preferred qualifications include C/C++ proficiency, automotive diagnostic tools, CAN/CAN-FD, Ethernet, MQTT, GRPC, DDS, LIN, DBC, LDF, ARXML, HIL/SIL, Linux, Android or iOS testing, ISO 26262, sensor and data acquisition principles, electrical wiring and schematics, and CI/CD practices.
