Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate high-performance gateway and routing components in Go.
- Own technical direction for your area: author design documents, lead architectural reviews, and drive decisions.
- Build and evolve infrastructure for authentication, caching, rate limiting, and traffic shaping.
- Collaborate with SRE, Infrastructure, and Platform teams to meet availability and scalability requirements.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and present findings for architectural review.
- Deliver features end-to-end from design through production rollout and maintenance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on backend development in Go with strong concurrency patterns.
- Deep understanding of Go internals and systems programming.
- Strong network knowledge including TCP, TLS, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with applied cryptography and designing scalable distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of large-scale web infrastructure and observability stacks.
- Ability to author system design documents and lead technical reviews.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment patterns.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
