
CMS / Technical Lead — Forge & OpenText Migration (credit unions)

Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and inventory the existing Central1 Forge/OpenText website environment, including components, templates, content types, integrations, APIs, and dependencies.
- Assess target CMS platforms and define the target-state architecture, content model, component architecture, integration patterns, and migration approach.
- Define migration plans for content, media, metadata, redirects, and structured data.
- Lead integrations with digital banking, account opening, CRM, product systems, analytics and tag management, search, location services, calculators, marketing automation, personalization, and authentication systems.
- Define API and middleware requirements and address security, privacy, hosting, environments, deployment, and access-control needs.
- Work with credit-union architecture and security teams on technical governance and create estimates and implementation plans.
- Provide technical leadership to frontend, backend, and DevOps resources; review code and architecture for quality and maintainability.
- Support cutover, data and content migration, launch, and post-launch stabilization.
- Create reusable migration accelerators and technical playbooks for AEQ's broader Forge offering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in CMS architecture, web engineering, or solution architecture.
- Significant experience with enterprise CMS migrations and at least one modern enterprise CMS platform.
- Strong experience with headless or hybrid CMS architecture and API/integration architecture.
- Experience with Central1 Forge Digital Banking Experience and preferably its public website solution.
- OpenText TeamSite, Web Experience Management, or related OpenText CMS experience is highly desirable.
- Experience leading backend engineering for public websites, particularly for financial institutions or credit unions.
- Understanding of Azure, AWS, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD.
- Strong security and identity fundamentals.
- Experience in banking, credit unions, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Comfort leading technical workshops with architects, CIO/CTO teams, and vendors.
Benefits
- Compensation is $80/hour-$100/hour depending on skill set and expertise.
