Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop desktop 3D printer software focused on geometric algorithms.
- Integrate newly researched features into the production PreForm codebase.
- Implement and optimize complex algorithms for features used by tens of thousands of users.
- Work with Product Management to define the long-term feature roadmap.
Requirements
- Extensive experience writing C++ code for desktop applications.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development.
- Experience developing 3D graphics or computational geometry.
- Ability to collaborate across Software, Hardware, Design, R&D, and Product Management teams.
- Willingness to study computer science journal articles to support algorithm development.
- Experience with solid mechanics or FEM is a bonus.
- Experience with image processing is a bonus.
