Base Salary
$150k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build production APIs and SDKs for interacting with Formlabs software, printers, and manufacturing workflows.
- Build reliable automation systems that integrate print preparation and Formlabs printers into customer software and workflows.
- Ship reliable, easy-to-use API features that generate value for customers.
- Collaborate with Product Management and external developers to solve complex problems and shape long-term technical direction.
Requirements
- Experience building APIs, SDKs, or other developer-facing software.
- Strong foundation in software architecture, data structures, object-oriented software design, and cloud services.
- Ability to work across system boundaries and debug complex interactions between software components.
- Interest in the interaction between software and physical devices.
- User-focused approach, ownership, bias toward action, decision-making, and effective collaboration across technical disciplines.
- Preferred experience with REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, NATS, MQTT, C++, MES, industrial automation, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, networking, AI-powered applications, 3D graphics, computational geometry, robotics, or simulation.
