Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful or GraphQL APIs, microservices, and business logic with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Model data and manage queries with Supabase and PostgreSQL, including functions, row-level security, and real-time features.
- Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/Sub.
- Write clean, testable code and contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, code reviews, and quality assurance.
- Implement secure-by-default authentication, authorization, and data protection using Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting while owning incident response and uptime improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions, mentor team members, and document technical decisions and systems.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in backend engineering roles.
- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-based backend services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure, including serverless services such as Cloud Run, AWS Lambda, or Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture practices.
- Experience designing REST APIs and developing cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, and Git workflows.
- Strong understanding of security principles, data protection, and compliance best practices.
- Effective communication and proactive teamwork.
