Base Salary

$161k - $241k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and govern a unified Palantir Foundry ontology strategy, including modeling standards, naming conventions, object lifecycle governance, documentation, and technical-debt remediation.
  • Define reference architecture patterns for pipelines, transforms, and integrations and serve as the final technical reviewer for new solution designs.
  • Support sustainment teams as the primary architecture escalation point and improve issue resolution through documentation, dependency clarity, and standardized patterns.
  • Lead Foundry impact assessment, migration planning, risk mitigation, cutover coordination, and post-migration validation for the ERP migration.
  • Establish and maintain an architecture repository containing standards, patterns, diagrams, decision records, and other durable documentation.
  • Coordinate architecture decisions across portfolio leads, application owners, developers, data engineers, business stakeholders, and ERP program leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12+ years of experience in data or platform architecture, or a master’s degree and 10+ years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance as a condition of continued employment.
  • Significant hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including ontology design, pipelines, transforms, and the application layer.
  • Experience designing or governing enterprise ontologies or data models across multiple applications, business units, or functional domains.
  • Experience leading or significantly contributing to a major system or platform migration involving cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong software development, architecture, database, and data architecture background.
  • Ability to evaluate solution options across Palantir Foundry, SAP, existing applications, and other technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform inconsistent environments into documented, governed, and maintainable architectures.
  • Ability to act as a neutral technical authority, influence without direct reporting authority, uphold standards, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred qualifications include SAP or major ERP experience, manufacturing, supply chain, or defense/aerospace experience, architecture governance experience, organizational change management familiarity, and Palantir Foundry certifications or equivalent platform depth.
