Base Salary
$133k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture, modernization, and development of an enterprise Document Management Platform.
- Design and develop Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Build intelligent document processing solutions using OCR, document classification, metadata and entity extraction, and workflow automation.
- Architect AI-powered search and retrieval using semantic search, vector search, hybrid search, embeddings, and RAG.
- Drive adoption of generative AI, large language models, GitHub Copilot, and related AI-assisted development tools.
- Lead cloud modernization initiatives on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, including legacy application transformation.
- Partner with business, product, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant systems.
- Mentor engineers, lead architecture reviews, and drive operational excellence, reliability, and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six to eight years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and enterprise data platforms.
- Experience with intelligent document processing, including OCR, document classification, metadata extraction, and entity extraction.
- Experience with AI search and retrieval, including semantic search, vector search, hybrid search, embeddings, and RAG.
- Experience with generative AI, large language models, and GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, secure software development, observability, production support, and technical leadership.
- Ability to work from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
