Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize operational processes using Excel VBA and troubleshoot complex existing VBA automation code.
- Write and troubleshoot solutions using Python, Databricks, and PySpark, including potential migration of legacy code.
- Build and maintain automation assets, EUCs, RPAs, proof-of-concepts, reporting solutions, and data-driven tools.
- Use Power Pivot, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, and Power Platform to automate processes, analyze data, and create visualizations.
- Analyze operational problems, reengineer processes, and recommend improvements to reduce manual effort and risk.
- Document requirements, process changes, workflows, solutions, and best practices.
- Apply data governance and risk management practices and coordinate with teams on data access, controls, and management.
- Manage project delivery, communicate status, escalate issues, and collaborate with Wealth Operations stakeholders.
- Present complex data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Four to six years of experience in a similar role within Wealth Operations or a related area.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of VBA, Excel, Python/PySpark, Databricks, MS Access, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Experience with Power BI and Tableau is advantageous; Alteryx experience is also beneficial.
- Ability to document processes, map workflows, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with reporting, data governance, risk governance, or business risk and controls is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proactive analytical and problem-solving abilities.
