Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud data solutions and optimized data pipelines.
  • Use Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, SAS, and Power BI to support data engineering and analytics solutions.
  • Apply data modeling principles to enable effective data management, reporting, and integration.
  • Create unit test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of data products.
  • Support implementation of data mesh architecture within the cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead technical design, application development, integration, and multi-year technology roadmaps.
  • Lead complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and application enhancements.
  • Act as the mobile development team lead, conduct code reviews, and mentor intermediate and senior developers.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud data engineering or a related area.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Python, PySpark, and SAS.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable data solutions, pipelines, and analytics solutions using cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of large datasets, data modeling, data integration, data quality, unit testing, and data mesh architecture.
  • Experience leading technical design, complex projects, application development, or backend system initiatives.
  • Ability to mentor developers, coordinate programming activities, collaborate effectively, solve problems, and adapt to change.
