Responsibilities

Drive the development and testing of new capabilities in mobile and web apps.
Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand their needs.
Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements.
Influence upcoming development by collaborating with product teams across ArcGIS.
Advocate for the customer and represent their workflows in product design.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development.
Provide in-depth analysis for complex product issues and propose solutions.
Assess product quality and release readiness through writing and reviewing test plans.
Write and present conceptual topics and tutorials for GIS staff or mobile workers.
Become a subject matter expert for specific product capabilities and features.
Identify and implement process improvements across the development team.

5+ years of experience with Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, and/or Online.
Experience configuring and deploying Esri Field Apps like Field Maps and Survey 123.
Expertise in modern software languages such as Python or JavaScript.
Proven track record of delivering sustainable software solutions.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences.
Passion for delivering quality work in a timely manner, both in teams and individually.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor's degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field.
