Responsibilities
- Implement platform components based on predefined API contracts.
- Contribute to dataset and artifact management for images, LiDAR, and rosbags.
- Develop services for model storage and execution, including ONNX and TensorRT workflows.
- Contribute to evaluation and inference pipelines.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable Python and C++ backend services.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Validate system behavior against defined interfaces and requirements.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Python; backend experience is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, data structures, and testing.
- Interest in machine learning systems or computer vision; prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with clearly defined interfaces.
- Bonus experience with Docker, REST APIs, distributed systems, PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT, data pipelines, or backend infrastructure.
- Must be enrolled at a university.
- EU applicants must have or obtain a residence permit; non-EU applicants must be residing in Switzerland and have a mandatory internship supported by a university letter.
